America is on the brink of Disaster

2 Chronicles 7:14 “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

America is at a point where she is about to implode. Our government and its leaders are out of hand in their activities. Even posting this article will no doubt put me (as if I weren't already) on a list of people that should be disposed of, being considered a dissident due to my blog, my homeschooling, and etc.

I have believed for some time that America is Babylon, and according to Scripture, Babylon does not bite the dust until the end of this age. But the way America is going, and now things seem to be so bad that even what we are hearing in the media is quite awful, not to mention those things that are much more hideous behind the scenes and kept from the public, I have to wonder if I am wrong, or if something is going to happen to delay this event to its proper time frame. The one thing that could delay the demise of this country, its constitution, and sovereignty is the suggestion God made above. Christians need to get to their knees, NOW, and start praying fervently for this country, if we do not want to end up in jail (or worse) for having a Bible, or teaching Sunday School, or homeschooling our children. The rest of the world has been suffering under these types of restrictions and punishments for a long time, being martyred for their faith, much less being thrown in jail. We are the last bastion of freedom being able to worship God freely, but this is a freedom that is soon to be lost. We can no longer afford to stick our heads in the sand and ignore the problem, thinking that things will be okay, because we are supposedly a country under God. We have not been a country under God for a very long time now. And God has just about had His fill our our sins.

I am asking for every reader to either write your own plea, copy and paste this article, or link the blog address of this article in an email and send the message to as many Christians as you can. We can still delay the inevitable if we are willing to humble ourselves and ask God to forgive our personal sins and our country's sins. If we don't, we can expect that our lives will soon change, and not for the better.

  1. Mike, for some reason your comment came through to my email notification, but did not show up here, so I am going to post it so that I can answer it.

    Mike's comment:
I have no doubt America is Babylon-like, that said, being caught between being mid-Trib and Amil, I don't put as much significance in the fate of America prophetically. As a matter of fact, I find it more important to concentrate on living the Christian life *now* rather than speculate (guess) on what may or may not be. I've often found it interesting how Christians will spend many hours trying to divine prophecies and trying to piece them in some logical order according to the theology the person embraces, i.e., making the Bible fit the theology. Again, why worry about it? Why spend time *guessing* only to be made to look like other's who were "sure God showed them" only to fail. What's the point? Living the Christian life is difficult enough on a day-to-day basis without adding "prophecies" to the mix that, more often than not, add to the instability of those already having a shaky faith (not to mention those who are outright delusional and only need a nudge to push them over the edge into Identity or survivalist mentality)...again I ask, what's the point? I'm not trying to be unkind I'm asking a valid question. If one could throw the proverbial baseball to hit the broadside of a barn, only make that "barn" YouTube, there are 100's or perhaps 1000's of people writing and making videos of Biblical prophecy, whether Texx Mars or any Fundamentalist of your choosing...ALL are shouting the same song. So, with all that said, what does it matter? If one is truly a child of God and the Holy Spirit truly resides in them, God will lead them to the outcome that glorifies Him and THAT'S what matters.

    1. Since you asked this as a valid question, I will give you a valid answer from Scripture.

Rev. 1:3 "Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand." Rev. 22:7 "] Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book." Heb. 5:12-14 "For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil."

First of all, we are to move on from the milk of Scripture (the gospel message) and move on to the meat. The meat is the O.T. and most importantly the prophecies. As Christians we are to move on from the elementary doctrines and go on to study the Lord's Second Coming in anticipation of that event. Revelation is the only book of the Bible with blessings attached to it. It isn't enough to read it, you must heed it. To heed it, you must study to understand it. Since Peter told us that prophecy is not of private interpretation, (2 Pet. 1:20) we must take it at face value and learn what is coming. Why? Because of the warning Jesus gave us over and over in the Olivet Discourse. "Do not be deceived."

If possible he will deceive even the elect. (Matt. 24:24) How is that even possible? Hosea 4:6 tells us that. "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children."

There is no pre-trib or mid-trib or even pre-wrath (they put the rapture at the sixth seal) rapture. The rapture is at the end of Daniel's 70th week, and only those who are alive and remain will see it. The rest of the multitude of Christians will enter into the kingdom via the persecution of the antichrist. Check out the vast number that come out of it on the sea of glass before the trumpet judgments.

God gave us all this prophecy for a reason. He wanted us to read it and learn, so that we would be forewarned, for forewarned is forearmed. If you know what is coming, you won't be deceived.

As to the multitude of people putting their version of what the Bible says out there, that is why you should study it yourself. I take it at face value for what it says, rather than putting a spin on it. Do I speculate about some things, yes, I try to discern from what Scripture does not outright say but implies as to what could happen.
I don't believe I teach these things as dogma, but as fair possibilities. It is a good idea to have various scenarios as possibilities in your head, so that you can see if any of them come to pass. This way you won't be deceived, which is what Christ was very concerned about.

Whether America is Babylon or not, you cannot deny the Church is in great apostasy and the country is in spiritual trouble and needs prayer. Living a life that glorifies God is great, but ignorance does not glorify Him. 2 Tim. 2:15 " Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."
